We
wish to thank the Valley View and the staff
at NW News for the well-written article preceding
and promoting National Alpaca Farm Day. Many
of your readers came out to visit the farms
all up and down the valley, and I know a lot
of kids and adults got to meet an alpaca for
the first time.
Next year National Alpaca Farm
Day will again be the last weekend in September.
Mark
your calendars now for more excitement.
We hope to have better weather and better prepared
exhibits now that we have a better idea
of
how well this is received.
If anyone didn’t get the opportunity
to make it to a farm on National Alpaca Farm
Day please call any of us to arrange a visit.
If you would like to talk more about alpacas
and the alpaca industry, we are all available
to meet with you and help you figure out
if there is a business plan that works for
you. Alpacas as pets are also an interesting
option, and we are hoping to get a 4-H program
going to support kids who want to raise an
alpaca.
Thank you from all of us!
