Unsightly
campaign signs are back in Woodinville and
outside the city and voting limits.
The Woodinville
City Council candidates are doing it again.
Recently the Woodinville
Weekly ran an article about the campaign
signs and tampering. These signs are ugly
and the mass number that one candidate
puts out in a block detracts from the beauty
of
our city and surrounding area. We as a
community complained to you, the candidates,
the first
time you did it and some of you have not
learned that we the voters don’t
like it.
Why would we want to support a city council
person or a candidate who believes that Woodinville
should have their graffiti-like signs plastered
all over the place. Some of the candidates
are posting in areas that are not in the
city limits, like around the Woodinville
Costco area, which is outside the city limits.
I for one will not vote for anyone who
believes in defacing our city; I hope and
ask that others follow my lead. The signs
tell us nothing of the candidate.
What are your views why should we vote for
you? Your signs only tell us: the name of
the person who wants to make our city look
tacky and ugly, that you like to waste money,
you have disregard for the environment and
natural resources, you are not a community
planner and with the signs blocking the view
of drivers at intersections and distracting
motorists you have disrespect for the safety
of the community and its people.
I know you have the right to post your signs,
but do it responsibly. Post your signs within
your voting area and place one sign in a
block. The multiple signs 10 or 20 in a block
make me think you are just an idiot and you
insult me by thinking I am an idiot like
you. Please take down the multiple signs
and return Woodinville back into the beautiful
and safe community it was before you put
up your thousands of ugly and dangerous signs.
