Erik McCrillis and Megan Hawthorne were married on Saturday, Aug. 22 in a sunset ceremony at St. James Cathedral, Seattle.
The bride is the daughter of William and Laura Hawthorne, Chehalis, Washington. The groom is the son of Shawn and Julie McCrillis, Woodinville, Washington.
The bride was attended by Melissa Moneymaker of Chehalis, Washington as maid of honor, with sisters of the groom Ashley and Michelle McCrillis along with sorority sisters Brianna Landis and Jessica Warren as bridesmaids.
The best man was Shawn McCrillis, father of the groom. Groomsmen included Cody Hawthorne, brother of the bride, and Patrick Kot.
The ceremony was followed by an intimate candlelit reception with 25 family and friends at Melrose Market Studios, Seattle, and a sparkler send-off.
The bride is employed as a health services consultant for the Washington State Newborn Screening Laboratory, Shoreline Washington.
The groom works as a journeyman electrician for Pride Electric, Redmond, Washington.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon at Suncadia, Cle Elum, Washington and reside in Lake Stevens.
