Local students receive various college honors

Wilson named to Presidents List 

Nicholas Wilson, a Nichols College student from Bothell, Wash., achieved President's List status for the spring 2020 semester.

The Dean's List and President's List give recognition to those students who achieve high grades during a single semester. In order to be included on the Dean's List, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for at least 12 undergraduate credit-hours and must have received no grades below B- during the semester. 

Sternitzky Graduates from Colorado College

Madison Sternitzky, of Woodinville, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology and Ecology from Colorado College. Sternitzky was one of 524 undergraduates to be celebrated virtually by Colorado College on May 31. 

Luanava graduates from USD

Davis Luanava of Woodinville graduated from the University of San Diego for the 2019-2020 school year. Luanava earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Ocean Sciences.

Vincent named to CSC's Dean's List

Allison Vincent, of Bothell, is one of 265 Chadron State College students who qualified for the institution's Spring 2020 Dean's List by earning at least a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify, students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework, be seeking their first bachelor's degree, and have no incomplete grades during the semester.

Local students named to University of Utah's spring 2020 Dean's List

The following local students made the list:

Spencer Carstens of Bothell, Biomedical Engineering BIO, major

Chloe Mason of Woodinville, whose major is listed as Theatre BFA.

Margot Reynolds of Kenmore, whose major is listed as Undeclared Pre-Medicine BS.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

Belmont University Announces Spring 2020 Dean's List

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Spring 2020 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semster) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

Students Earn Dean's List Recognition from George Fox University

Local students were among those who earned dean's list recognition at George Fox University for the spring 2020 semester. Traditional undergraduate students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or above on 12 or more hours of graded work to earn a spot on the dean's list.

Georgia Tech graduates announced

The Georgia Institute of Technology awarded degrees to approximately 4,050 undergraduate and graduate students at the conclusion of spring semester. Students were celebrated during a virtual celebration held on May 1. They will also be honored during in-person commencement ceremonies to be held on campus later this year.
