SOCCER2Woodinville High School Freshman and Varsity Soccer Teammates, Alexia Fulkerson (CenterBack) and Holland Pilukas (Keeper), brought the hardware home by winning the Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) Championship tournament with their Washington State Elite Player Development (EPD) U16 team.  The tournament was held January 5-8, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Championship game Jan 8:  WA 2 v So CA 1 tied 1-1 at the end of regulation and play went into overtime, then on to PK shootout.
Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop Donates $150,082 in 2017
In 2017 Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop donated $150,082 back into our Eastside community through 22 grants, vouchers, Day of Caring Cards, and five community college scholarships. They are looking to provide grant funds to additional 501 3C organizations on the Eastside, especially small groups needing a little help. The requirements and grant application can be found on their website Grant applications are reviewed monthly.
ECA is an all-volunteer organization, located at 12451 116 Ave. NE, Kirkland. Clean, resalable items can be dropped off during business hours 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday; open until 6:00 p.m. Friday. Phone: 425-825-1877.

Emiley Melillo, of Kenmore WA, has been named to the Fall 2017 Dean’s List at  Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I.
Halle Sciarrino of Woodinville, WA has made the Dean’s List, with a 3.94 GPA, at the University of Louisville, KY for the Fall of 2017.  Halle entered U of L as a Junior, after completing two years as a running start student and graduating with her Associates in Integrated Studies from Cascadia College.  She is majoring in Criminal Justice.
Jared Weigler of Kenmore was named to The University of Rhode Island (Kingston, RI) Dean’s List.  To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average.
