Celebrate Woodinville Summer Festival is Saturday, Aug. 15

Come one, come all! Celebrate Woodinville’s Summer Festival is on Saturday, Aug. 15 in downtown Woodinville. Invite your family, friends and neighbors and join in the fun of this great community event.

Festivities will begin with the Woodinville Fire & Rescue pancake breakfast, followed by the 37th annual community parade. Throughout the afternoon, attendees can enjoy free music in the park; local libations in the wine and beer garden; tasty menu options from local restaurants and food trucks; arts and crafts fair; exhibitors; Woodinville farmers market; and children’s activities, hosted by the Northshore YMCA. Don’t miss the popular “Basset Bash,” a Basset Hound-only contest with prizes awarded for attributes such as best waddle, best howl and one you might expect: longest ears.

Big Dog Revue is a hard-drivin’, horn-oriented, dance and show band. The members are all Seattle area natives and have a combined experience of over 200 years, performing with groups that include the Temptations, Dr. Funk, Dix Delux and Charlie & The Tunas.

THE SPYROGRAPHS | 3:15 to 5 p.m.
The Spyrographs are a tight, five-piece band playing the best “spy, pop and surf” hits of the 1960’s. Between the James Bond soundtracks, go-go hits of Nancy Sinatra and classic surf of The Ventures, The Spyrographs have the musical mojo to make you say, “Yeah, baby!”

Wine & Beer Garden
12 to 5 p.m.
Bring your own glass, and enjoy wines poured by premiere Woodinville Wine Country wineries, and craft beers from local breweries. Guests must be 21 to purchase wine and beer, and ID is required.
