Post-Christmas blues gotcha? Well, you have no time for such foolishness because ART ATTACK back. As an outreach ministry of Bear Creek Community Church, Woodinville, Art Attack classes will meet every other Monday evening starting January 15th, 2018, for eight weeks from 7-9 p.m. This year, Renae Hoey, pet portrait artist, is returning to leads us in drawing with colored pencils. Kay Lewis, artist and technical illustrator, will present watercolor techniques finishing with a painting or two; Kay will also introduce what she calls "Faux Sumi-e Japanese Painting" which is an adventure using ink and water. Laura Sisti, art educator, will teach again this year, leading the class in making a multi-layered paper cut collage, and exercises in drawing from nature. Eight two-hour session are included for $25 per participant. All art supplies will be provided. ART ATTACK welcomes all levels of artistic experience and is a safe, fun environment that encourages discovery, taking risks, play, and laughter. We devote no time to making “straight lines” and perfectionism is not allowed.
ART ATTACK is offered to everyone 16 years or older, but children 13-15 may attend when accompanied by an adult. We have space for only 15 participants so register as class fills up fast. Registration forms are available at:
