Woodinville Garden Club Plant Sale is May 12th

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff
Spring has arrived and it is time to start planting!  Beautiful, healthy plants will be found at the Woodinville Garden Club Plant Sale.  Held on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, the annual sale is Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Among the 15,000 plants nurtured to perfection will be the Club’s popular tomato plants, grown from seed to sturdy one-gallon size.  Varieties offered will include enduring favorites Sun Gold, Sweet Million and heirloom, plus several other tomatoes especially suited for our Woodinville climate.  An extensive selection of veggie starts and herbs will be available.   Lush moss shade baskets, unique sun baskets, table baskets and planted unique container collections, perfect for Mother’s Day, will also be sold.
All plants available at the sale are grown by the club members in a beautiful greenhouse made available by a generous homeowner in Woodinville.  Teams of members meet twice each week beginning in February to seed, transplant and groom the plants.

Proceeds from the sale are used to fund Woodinville Garden Club’s many civic projects.  Woodinville’s DeYoung Park renovation is the most recent funds recipient; the park will include an artist designed drinking fountain from funds donated by the club.  Please visit www.woodinvillegardenclub.org to learn more.
All prices are very reasonable and parking is free.  Plan to come early for best selection.  Hope you can join us to celebrate the arrival of spring.  See you there!
