Eastside Audubon Society will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at Kirkland’s Juanita Bay Park on Saturday, June 16th, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. This annual event is filled with exciting activities, for both adults and children. Eastside Rangers and representatives from Green Kirkland, along with Eastside Audubon members, will be in attendance to answer bird and park related questions.
Activities include walks with knowledgeable Eastside Park Rangers and Eastside Audubon members to explore the park, and nature-related booths to educate visitors about our feathered friends.
Activities designed for children include a migration game, to learn about the perils birds face on their migratory routes, and bird matching games.  Giveaways for children include bracelets, stickers, coloring pages and tattoos.
Juanita Bay Park is located at 2201 Market St, Kirkland, WA 98033. Parking is located in the south parking lot and along Market Street.
