Northshore Schools Foundation (NSDF) is excited to announce its second annual free family festival on Saturday, June 8 at Pop Keeney Field in Bothell. The Foundation’s All In for Kids Family Fun Day is a day filled with kid friendly activities and live music that will encourage community connection, family friendly activities and the celebration of a great year.

“You have heard us ask the community to join us in being All In for Kids and this is our opportunity to celebrate the fact that so many people have said YES! We are having a community-wide party for our students and families and we really hope to see everyone there," said Katie Ruff, outgoing NSDF president.

Family Fun Day runs from noon to 7:00 pm and will feature live music from students across the district, including a performance by the Hollywood Hill Marimba Club, Frank Love Ukulele performers and the SAS Music Project. There will be many opportunities for audience participation including a group kazoo concert lead by a special mystery guest and dancing with Culture Shakti. We will end the evening with special guests Gypsy Temple who are making music and being activists encouraging people to vote and mental health awareness.

Throughout the day, students will enjoy the opportunity to do craft activities provided by Snapdoodle Toys & Games in Kenmore, Board Games and Magic Cards provided by Zulu’s Game Café, and field games with the Northshore YMCA. Inspirus Credit Union, Pacific Medical Center and Ontra Marketing Group are the event sponsors.

This really is a community-wide event. Our partners and our sponsors are excited to give back to our community and have a local opportunity to interact with our families,” said Carmin Dalziel, NSDF Executive Director.
The event will showcase numerous local community supporters raising awareness of their services and offering kid-friendly interactive options, including 9Round Fitness, Bothell Pediatrics, North Creek Jaguars Junior Football, Girl Scouts, Guild Mortgage and more.

There will be four food vendors on premise, including concessions by Northshore Kiwanis, Frelard Tamales, Chick-Fil-A and Daddy’s Donuts.

The event is sure to be a hit for the whole family, so we hope people will join us for the day or even stop in for an hour or two between their other Saturday activities,” Dalziel said.

The Foundation and the YMCA are teaming up to offer a raffle for a family outdoor adventure pack.    Proceeds from the raffle will support 2019-20 water safety classes for Northshore students.

Seating and dancing will be allowed on the field, however there are several restrictions in place to ensure that the field remains intact for upcoming sports event. No food or drink will be allowed on the field, shoes must be flat and have no spikes, chairs must have bar legs rather than four legs, and no trash on the field.

Tickets are free and preregistration is not required, however preregistered attendees will receive one complimentary raffle ticket.  Go to to preregister today.
