Community Rummage Sale Planned for August

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff
The much-anticipated Community Rummage Sale to benefit Northshore Senior Center (NSC) will be held Friday, Aug. 9 to Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019. This event is the Center’s major fund-raiser of the year, with profits going towards services and programs to aid seniors in Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Woodinville and the surrounding Northshore area.
For three days, NSC will be transformed into a bargain shopper’s paradise, with every room filled with tempting items such as antiques, collectibles, jewelry, wall art, books and much more. This year, clothing will be priced at just $5 a bag during all three days. A “Bag Sale” is planned on Sunday, where thrifty shoppers can stuff as many different items as they can fit into a bag for only $5.
Donations of sellable items for the Rummage Sale are welcome weekdays beginning Monday, June 3 until Friday, July 26 from 9AM to 3PM at NSC, located at 10201 East Riverside Drive, Bothell, WA 98011-3708. Large furniture and appliances, computers/computer equipment and plastic flowers or food containers will not be accepted this year, among other things.
For further information about the NSC Rummage Sale, volunteering, or a complete list of which items are not being accepted this year, please call NSC at 425-487-2441.
