Alzheimer’s caregivers support group

Caring for someone with memory loss? Do you need information and support?

Alzheimer’s Association family caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with memory loss.

Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Stillwater Hill Church, 32111 NE Big Rock Road, Duvall, WA 98019.

Brightwater Center’s ‘Ecotober’ celebration begins Oct. 17

It’s fall for fun and learning at Brightwater Center’s third annual Ecotober celebration, featuring a variety of free activities the whole family can enjoy.

Ecotober takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brightwater Center, 22505 State Route 9 S.E. in Woodinville.

Fundraiser for Kenmore Senior Center

A fundraiser for the Kenmore Senior Center will take place at Northshore Senior Center, 10201 East Riverside Dr., on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. It will feature the Cliff Perry Band, a Pacific Northwest traditional bluegrass band with outstanding musicians starring our own Cliff Perry from the transportation department. The concert is open to all ages. Call Northshore Senior Center, 425-487-2441 or view our website for more information. After the concert, stay and enjoy light refreshment. $10 admission. Inaugural Kenmore Bone and Joint Expo
