kaj2018

Kristine Anne Jensen, 47, of Normandy Park, Washington finally found peace on November 23, 2018 at home.

Kristine was born October 21, 1971, in Burien, Washington, to Loran Jensen and Karen (Jensen) Johnson. She graduated from Woodinville High School in 1990, and was preceded in death by her father Loran; grandparents, Elmer and Ellen Jensen and grandparents, Ross and Isabel Halterman.

Kristine’s life revolved around her cat, “Tigger” (a/k/a “Chicken Butt”) and she was a lover of all things “furry.” Kristine had a generous heart.  In her early adult years she was a compassionate caregiver for vulnerable adults and the elderly. She enjoyed listening to their life stories and ensuring that they were not alone. Recently a friend shared with us that Kristine often purchased and delivered food to the homeless.

Kristine is survived by her mother, Karen Johnson;  daughter, Emily Anne Marie Harrington; Emily’s adoptive mother,  Jeanne Persoon; stepfather, Hal Johnson; stepmother, Susan Jensen; sisters, Kim (George) McDonald and Joelle (Mike) Spell; step-sister Mary (Steve) Solomon; nephews, Jon McDonald, Tyler Johnson, and Bryce Solomon; nieces, Michele McDonald, Amy Johnson, Grace Spell, Emma Spell; close family friends, Jan and George Wilson.
Kristine Anne Jensen, is loved and will be dearly missed by all. As we try to move forward without a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend , we pray for peace, for all of us and especially for those that struggle with depression and mental illness.

If you suffer from depression, feel alone or are thinking of suicide please reach out. You are loved and not alone.
