Martha Tritle

Martha Tritle

Martha Helen (Ferrall) Tritle, a gentle and loving woman of God, went home to Jesus on September 4, 2019, after a relentless bout with cancer.

Martha was born in Detroit, Michigan with an adventurous spirit. She lived in Michigan, Oregon, California, and New Hampshire before settling as a long-time resident of Woodinville, Washington.

In her youth, she hitch-hiked, motorcycled, and made her way around the country with her sisters and friends in pursuit of great fun and amazing concerts.
As an adult, Martha's adventures took her on missions trips to Mexico, Nicaragua, and India. She also loved traveling with her husband and children to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Germany and around the US.

Ultimately, she felt her most meaningful adventure was the life she lovingly crafted with her husband; a journey lit by their love of Christ, diligent commitment, prioritizing their family, and a love for all.

What you must know about Martha is that she loved life and she loved people even more! She never met a stranger. If you ever had the good fortune of speaking with her at the Cottage Lake Safeway, Hallmark, Macy’s, Northshore Church, in her neighborhood, at the park, or anywhere really, I’m sure you left the interaction knowing you were valuable.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and precious granddaughter, Macy Evelyn Henley.  She is survived  by her husband Keith Austin Tritle, children Nadine Elizabeth Chaves (Oscar), Ryan Keith Tritle (Jocelyn), and Heather Julianne Henley (Michael), her grandchildren Evangelina, Max and Aixa, and many other children who graced her home through the years, whether for a moment or for months.

Martha Helen Tritle will be dearly missed on this earth. We are so thankful to have been touched by her loving presence. We will honor her legacy of love by loving others and will remain encouraged that one day, we will be with her again.
