On October 13, 2019, Karl went home to be with his Lord and Savior Messiah Yeshua. He drowned while on vacation, snorkeling on Kauai.
Karl grew up in the Snoqualmie Valley and was adventurous. He had a variety of interests, skills and talents. He enjoyed riding motorcycles whether they were ATVs, dirt bikes or street bikes.
He was energetic and fond of God’s creation. Karl very much enjoyed hiking, occasionally biking, and even horse-related activities on rare occasions with those he loved.
Karl worked in the motorcycle industry for 20 years. For the past nine years, he worked for Modern Machinery. He considered himself blessed to be part of the Modern family and he truly enjoyed and appreciated those he worked with.
Karl will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, fun and silly sense of humor, and a merry heart.
He was committed, honorable, courageous, patient, honest and humble.
Karl is survived by a devoted and loving wife Christine, a beloved daughter Kayleen from his first wife Kerri, step-sons Makana and Kai, parents Karl S. and Diana, a younger brother Kenny and sister-in-law Deborah, and several Uncles, Aunties, Cousins, and Friends.
A small Celebration of Life service for intimate family and friends will be held in early 2020, hosted by Karl and Christine’s Church family in Newcastle, Washington.
