River DOWIf you’re looking for a best friend, River is the guy. River is extremely loyal to his people and bonds strongly. And not only that, but he’s one of the snuggliest pups to ever come through these doors! River is a 3 ½ year old German Shepherd/Lab mix who loves to go for walks, explore the great outdoors and cuddle with his companion. And he takes his snuggles very seriously – his favorite move is to nuzzle his head into his person’s neck. Unfortunately River had to lose a leg, but it hasn’t slowed him down! River doesn’t know he’s any different from the other dogs and gets around just fine. Because he gets so attached to his people, he’s looking for an adult only home and to be the only furry family member – he doesn’t want to compete for any pets or affection. River is here waiting for his new side kick – maybe that’s you!

noahNo, this is not an April Fools’ joke…Noah is really here and he’s waiting to meet you! Noah is a hunk of a chunk and he’s about 8 years old. You won’t find a cat nicer than him! Noah absolutely loves pets, so if you want a snuggle buddy, this guy is it. All you have to do is look in his direction and his happy curly feet get going. Noah was found living in a cat colony outside, so we know he’s good with other cats, but he would much prefer to live inside with all the wonderful luxuries that come with a warm, cozy house. We don’t know if he’s met dogs before, so slow introductions are recommended.  Noah is FIV positive, so he should be the only cat in the home, or live with other FIV positive cats. Come meet Noah today, you will love him right away!

bonnie DOWWhen people talk about infectious smiles, they could only be talking about Bonnie! Bonnie is an energetic and sweet American Bulldog/Lab mix. At just under nine years young, Bonnie is full of pep and loves to play, go for walks and hikes, and of course, cuddle. Belly rubs give Bonnie the biggest smile, and in return, you’ll start smiling huge too! Because she’s so deserving of all of your love and attention, Bonnie is looking to be the only pet in the home. Bonnie is so excited about everything and loves her food a little bit too much (is that actually possible?!), so she's looking for an adult only home that will give her the space she needs during meal time and help with her daily training. If you are looking for a dog to brighten your days and heart – stop looking – Bonnie is it!

yoyi COWYoyi is the gentlest of gentleman. He is quiet, dignified, and knows what he likes.  With his big green eyes, and soft gray fur, he certainly is handsome, too. This fantastic feline would love to sit with you while you do some reading, or lounge on a nice windowsill and watch the birds flutter around. Since Yoyi is a bit shy at first, we recommend he live in a nice quiet home - any kids in it should be in their teen years. Yoyi lived with a dog before, and would do best with a cat savvy dog that will give him space when he asks for it – with an adorable meow, of course! He has not lived with any cats, so introductions should be slow. If Yoyi sounds like your next best friend, come down to Homeward Pet Adoption Center to meet him!
