Video Game Review for Kids - 9/3/18

Hi. I hope you will get some ideas of what games to play with my latest video games review. We’ll start with Terraria.
Terraria: You probably have Minecraft or The Forest, maybe you’ve played them. Terraria is sort of like that except with two dimensional worlds. Watch the trailer at to see how “good” it is. When you start all you have is Copper Shortsword, Copper Pickaxe, and Copper Axe. As you start the game and learn the controls, day turns to night. Zombies hunt you down. All you can do is waste your time fending them off. As you can see, I am not a big fan of this game.  I rate Terraria 4 out of 10.
Splatoon 2: Before I get started I want to let you know this my favorite game ever!! This is not your normal third-person shooter. This is where you control an inkling, (we’ll talk about octolings in later columns), a cross between a squid and a kid, shooting ink the color of your four person team. The goal of Turf War is to cover more of the map than the other team. To slow down the other team, splat them. If you are splatted you wait 8.5 seconds to get back into the action. Another key part to the game is turning into a squid. While in your ink you can turn into a squid. You can’t shoot as a squid, but you recover ink and move faster. With almost a hundred weapons, 11 sub weapons, nine special weapons, and tons of clothes. I give it a 10 out of 10. Watch the trailer at
Sea of Thieves: If you are a pirate, plunder this game! In Sea of Thieves you are a pirate doing quests for people to earn gold. This also helps increase your reputation. The higher reputation the harder and more rewarding quests. Customize your ship and gear with the riches you have earned. After a while of doing quest after quest after quest the game stops being interesting. I give it a 6.5 out of 10. Here is the trailer
