Woodinville Water District General Manager Ken Howe Announces Retirement

Ken Howe, General Manager of Woodinville Water District publicly announced at the August 15, 2017 Regular Board Meeting that he will be retiring and will not renew his employment contract which runs through March 1, 2018.

Ken Howe was hired as the District’s General Manager in January 2004. He has had a 35-year career in the water and wastewater industry. The Board of Commissioners and the entire District staff wish him the best and appreciate his 13-year tenure at WWD.

The following hiring process was adopted by the Woodinville Water District Board of Commissioners at the August 15th, 2017 Board of Commissioners meeting:

• Executive search firms will be interviewed at the September 5, 2017 Regular Meeting,

• The selected firm will solicit names of potential candidates and provide, to the District Board of Commissioners, a short list of qualified candidates before the end of the year.
• The Board will interview candidates in early 2018.
