Police Beat - 10/31/16

MENTAL COMPLAINTS – 14100 NE 183rd ST
Shortly after midnight Woodinville police were dispatched to investigate a call of a suicidal female who said she had alcohol and drugs. The deputies went to her home to check on the woman. Initially, the woman answered the door and denied making any comments. Ultimately, the deputies were able to discern that the female had several glasses of wine and mixed that with her medication. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.

PROWLER, VEHICLE – 15000 NE 185TH ST.
According to the victim he was awakened by his car alarm being set off in his driveway. The victim looked outside and saw a “newer” looking vehicle drive away from their home. He went outside and found the driver side door open to his car.  Nothing appears to have been taken or disturbed from the car.

LARCENY, TAKEN FROM AUTO – 14500 NE 178TH PLACE
The victim was contacted by his credit card company to report that unknown person(s) had used his credit card. According to the victim it appears that someone forced the window of his vehicle down to gain access to his car. The car was parked in a cul-de-sac outside his residence. The suspect(s) forced open the glove box and took the victim’s credit cards which he had left in the car.

VEHICLE RECOVERY, OUTSIDE STOLEN – 12700 NE 149TH ST.
Deputies recovered a car that had been stolen out of Bellevue.

TRESPASS – 19800 136TH AVE NE
A male approximately 18 years old entered the school and inquired about obtaining a GED. Once administrators discovered he did not attend the school he was asked to leave. The male did not leave, rather he went to the lunch room and began talking with students. He was asked to leave a second time and advised that the School Resource Officer was on his way. The male ran from the school, got into his car and ran over a curb in his desire to leave quickly. The SRO pulled him over a short distance away. The male is known to police and was given a Trespass Warning.

ACCIDENT, INJURY – 132ND AVE NE/522 OVERPASS
Deputies were dispatched to a one-car accident. When they arrived they saw a vehicle near the westbound on-ramp. The car was upside down behind a light pole. The driver appeared to be unconscious and the deputy could hear labored breathing. The driver sustained life threatening injuries. The King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident and Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene and will conduct this investigation.

ROBBERY, CHAIN STORE – 14000 NE WOOD-DUVALL ROAD
Shortly after 5 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a robbery that had just occurred. According to store employees, a male and female entered the store and filled a basket with miscellaneous goods. The attempted to leave the store without paying and were contacted by a store employee who asked if they were going to pay for the items. The male pulled out a folding knife and opened the blade, holding it down. The employee stated that the male did not answer his question but walked out of the store with the merchandise. This is an open and active investigation.
