Molbak’s garden + home, a family-owned local business, continues its 62 year commitment to the community by working with the Northshore Schools Foundation to award $5,000 dollars in grants to local schools.  The Molbak’s
Nature Education Grant program provides money to support hands-on nature education programs and projects that can result in:
positive impacts to the environment of a school or community
an increase in appreciation of the positive effects of plants and gardens
and/or an increase in students’ appreciation for healthy foods and nutrition.
The goal is to empower students by providing hands-on environmental stewardship opportunities. Teachers, staff, parents and school organizations may apply for a grant from $50 and up to $1000.
The Northshore Schools Foundation is accepting applications for Molbak’s Nature Education’s second round of grants until November 1, 2018.  Grants will be awarded in December of 2018.
