PopUp Story Walk at Brightwater Treatment Center

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff
A PopUp StoryWalk is a book walk that travels on trails in various parks throughout the Eastside and Seattle. This activity has come to Brightwater Treatment Center’s North Habitat Trail with the book “The Water Princess”.
The story is placed on boards, along trails, with the first board beginning your trek and the story and the last board ending the trek and the story. The StoryWalk is an exciting outdoor activity for children and their families.  The story will be available at Brightwater through April 14.
Three moms from Woodinville, Kenmore, and Bothell have taken a concept that was created in Vermont and have brought it to the Seattle area, adding a twist to the traditional Storywalk.
They created PopUp StoryWalk with the intention of spreading the love of books and time outdoors.
