Northshore Wall of Honor inductees to be recognized

Eight Northshore School District alumni, former staff and volunteers will be recognized at the 2019 Wall of Honor ceremony, held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at Pop Keeney Stadium.
The Wall of Honor recognizes the outstanding achievements of Northshore alumni, staff and volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the District, community, state, nation or world.
This year’s inductees are: 
Nancy Bacon, Northshore School District Staff - 39 yrs. — Innovative teacher, civic activist, passionate advocate for youth
Robert Darlington, DVM, Bothell High School Class of 1955 — Nationally recognized veterinarian, skilled consultant, valued mentor
Royal Myles Donelson, Bothell High School Class of 1950 — Recognized business owner, councilman, mayor, community involvement
Pat Ellwood, Bothell High School Class of 1964 — Recognized construction industry expert, esteemed mentor to countless trainees
Claire “Mimi” McLaughlin, Northshore School District Volunteer - 43 yrs. — Teacher, active volunteer with PTSA, community, senior center and ski school
Joanne E. Moore, Northshore School District Staff - 21 yrs. — Early advocate for school nursing, mentor, civic volunteer and activist
David Shipway, Bothell High School Class of 1961 — Tireless advocate for youth sports, honored coach, referee, administrator
Dr. Walter Sundstrom, Northshore School District Volunteer - 18 yrs. — Bothell High School football doctor, councilman/mayor, led drive for Bothell library & pool
