Woodinville Police Beat June 5-June 12

WELFARE STATUS 

15600 BLOCK OF NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL ROAD: On June 5, at approximately 2:29 p.m., deputies were called to check on the status of a male slumped over the steering wheel of a car in a lot. On arrival, the man fled from deputies, but was found hiding nearby. The male was medically fine, but had an active warrant for his arrest. He was not booked into jail due to medical booking restrictions.

CIVIL MATTER 

17300 BLOCK OF 133 AVE NE: On June 5, at around 3:20 p.m., deputies contacted a person at City Hall who wanted to surrender their late father’s firearm for disposal.

LARCENY #1

17900 BLOCK OF 142 AVE NE: On June 6, at around 2:45 p.m., deputies took a phone report of a larceny. The victim’s suspect, an acquaintance, stole a wallet while helping them pack and move.

 STOLEN PLATES 

18200 BLOCK OF 142 AVE NE: On June 7, at approximately 1:39 p.m., a victim reported that both of their license plates were stolen from their vehicle during the night.

 LARCENY #2 

13300 BLOCK OF NE 173 STREET:  On June 10, at around 0800 hours, a victim reported that their car had been broken into and a bicycle stolen.

 FRAUD/FORGERY 

13100 BLOCK OF NE 175 STREET: On June 11, at around 11:33 a.m., a business reported that someone used a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase items.

LARCENY #3

14600 BLOCK OF NE NORTH WOODINVILLE WAY: On June 12, at around 9:58 a.m., a business owner reported that someone tried to cut out and remove a catalytic converter from a work van.
