Police Beat - 12/4/17

TRESSPASS – GARDEN WAY NE
Adult male was loitering outside business asking passing customers for cigarettes.  He refused to leave when asked. Deputy responded and issued a trespass warning.
 
LARCENY, TAKEN FROM AUTO – 141ST PL NE
$1700 worth of tools were taken from a locked work van over the weekend.  Suspect from video camera was shown to be a tall thin male wearing a hoodie.
 
LARCENY – 135th AVE NE
Employee stole prescription medication from a fellow employee’s purse on two separate occasions.  Victim declined to press criminal charges, but employee was terminated.
 
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED – WOOD. SNO. RD
Deputy pulled a female over for an illegal turn and found that she had a suspended license for a failure to appear and no insurance.  Cited and left at the scene for a licensed driver to respond as she was accompanied by a child.
 
SEX OFFENSE
Immature boyhood pranks were escalating to the point of some involved boys being uncomfortable after the pranks started showing up on videos and Snap chat groups. Situation was investigated and found to be being handled properly.
 
ROBBERY – NE 175TH ST
Deputies responded to a call where $200 was taken from victim after he was punched and pepper sprayed.  Victim had been in business parking lot to meet someone to buy a laptop.
 
DISTURBANCE– 142ND AVE NE
Deputies responded to disturbance amongst roommates.  No crimes were committed but it took multiple deputies about 45 minutes to calm the situation.
 
ASSAULT, SIMPLE – DV
Adult male punched and elbowed mother multiple times.  Taken into custody without incident.
 
ASSAULT, SIMPLE – DV
Adult male hit his wife in the head with a glass.  Male taken into custody and wife transported to hospital for minor cuts and high blood pressure.
 
TRESSPASS/SHOPLIFT – NE 178TH PL
Deputies responded to a shoplift call where loss prevention had apprehended to males.  Business declined prosecution and asked that offenders just be trespassed.
 
LARCENY, BIKE – 140TH AVE NE
Employee parked his bicycle behind business but didn’t lock it.  Bike was taken with no suspect info.
