Police Beat - May 27, 2019

VANDALISM - 168 AVE NE: 
Student admits to “tagging” portions of building.
 
FOUND PROPERTY - 133 AVE NE:
Citizen found a suitcase with clothing inside and turned it into the PD.
 
LARCENY TFA - WOODINVILLE-REDMOND ROAD:
Victim’s car was forcibly entered overnight and items were taken.
 
TRESPASS - 168 AVE NE:
Two residents of nearby homeless camp admitted to entering a school bus parked at a nearby school to smoke marijuana.  They were
issued trespass warnings.
 
LARCENY TFA - GARDEN WAY: 
Victim said that some property was taken from her car while she was away from it.  Vehicle entered by unknown means.
 
SUSPICIOUS PERSON - 164 AVE NE: 
Witness reported a suspicious male climbing out of some bushes.  Deputies contacted the subject who had an active warrant for his arrest.  The male was booked into King County Jail.
 
VEHICLE THEFT -  NE 153 PLACE:
Victim reported that his car was stolen from in front of his home during the night.
 
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY-  NE WOODINVILLE DRIVE:
Deputies responded to a call of an abandoned vehicle.  They determined that the vehicle had been stolen in Snohomish County.  Vehicle was released to owners at the scene.
 
ROBBERY - NE MILL PLACE: 
Subjects entered the store and made a small purchase.  They wandered around the store and eventually removed a cell phone from a locked cabinet.  The subjects were contacted as they left the store without paying for the cell phone.  A struggle ensued and a loss prevention officer had her arm twisted by the suspect, resulting in pain.  The suspect dropped the phone and fled the store.  Neither of the subjects were located. 
 
INDECENT EXPOSURE -  NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL ROAD: 
Subject was observed inside an open dressing room.  He fled the scene and was not located.
 
NARCOTICS ACTIVITY -  136 AVE NE: 
Students found to be in possession of marijuana and tobacco on school property.
 
BURGLARY ATTEMPT- WOODINVILLE-SNOHOMISH ROAD:
Subjects attempted to enter fenced property by cutting through the fence at the back of a business.  No property was taken.
 
LARCENY TFB -  GARDEN WAY NE:
Two teenagers were contacted for shoplifting and trespassed from the store.
 
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL ROAD: 
Subject was contacted by deputies for an altered trip permit on his vehicle.  Subject had several active warrants and was booked into jail.
 
VEHICLE THEFT- NE WOODINVILLE DRIVE: 
Victim’s vehicle was stolen from his apartment parking lot.
