Woodinville turned back Mt. Si 60-34 on Friday and then dealt North Creek a 67-43 loss on Saturday to improve its conference-leading record to 13-0.
Four Lady Falcons turned in solid efforts in both games. Mia Hughes had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Wildcats in Snoqualmie. Tatum Thompson hit for 13 points and pulled down 8 boards. Brooke Beresford added 12 points and Veronica Sheffey finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
Woodinville held a 13-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and was up 24-18 at the half. A 15-point third quarter gave the Lady Falcons a comfortable 39-24 advantage heading into the final eight minutes of the game.
The Woodinville-Four had an equally successful outing against the Jaguars. Hughes led the offensive output with 18 points, Beresford sizzled with 17, Thompson knocked down 13, but the most impressive performance of the contest was turned in my Sheffey who recorded a triple-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
The Lady Falcons were in complete control of this one, up 23-13 at the end of the first quarter, 35-22 at intermission and 47-28 after three quarters were in the books.
Woodinville was scheduled to match up with Eastlake at home on Wednesday, but the game was canceled due to inclement weather. The Lady Falcons are at Redmond, weather pending, to take on the Mustangs Friday night. The tipoff is scheduled for 7:15.
