Woodinville Girls' roundball gets past Kentridge

KENT — The top-ranked 4A Lady Falcons turned back Kentridge 61-49 at the ShoWare Center in Kent Monday to improve their record to 15-0 on the season.

Veronica Sheffey and Tatum Thompson led the Woodinville attack with 20 points each. Mia Hughes added 14.

The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 21-11 first-quarter lead and were up 37-24 at the break. Woodinville widened the gap, 52-34, heading into the fourth quarter.

The team is back in action tonight when the Lady Falcons host Skyline at 7:15. Bothell comes to town Friday. Tipoff is 6:30 p.m.
