Mia Hughes (24) and Tatum Thompson (0) were named to the State All-Tournament Team.

Junior Mia Hughes and sophomore Tatum Thompson were selected to the Washington 4A Girls State All-Tournament Team.

Hughes was named to the First Team and also received MVP status.

“Mia averaged 28 points and 11 rebounds over the course of three games — and doing it with exceptional shooting percentages. She definitely took her game to another level,” Coach Scott Bullock said. “It’s so enjoyable as a coach to sit back and watch her play. She also played the full 32 minutes each day without taking any kind of rest”

Rounding out the First Team selections were Peyton Howard, Central Valley; Mason Oberg, Union; Aaliyah Alexander, Todd Beamer and Aaliyah Collins, Glacier Peak.

Thompson was named Second Team All-State.

“Tatum really stepped up big for us in Game 2 with 17 points and 5 assists,” Bullock said. “The sky is the limit for this girl in the next two years. Her natural athleticism is off the charts. I can’t wait to see where she takes her game next year.”

Second Team roster also included Chloe Williams, Central Valley; Maya Erling, Glacier Peak; Alivia Stephens, Issaquah and MJ Bruno of Central Valley.
