Juniors Adam DiDomizio, Connor Hughes and Nathan Finger and sophomores Tim Player, Karl Skeel and Erik Skeel placed fourth and were awarded the NWISA Sportsmanship Trophy.

Teams completed in 21 15-minute long races over two days in pounding rain and 10-20 knot southerly winds and three-foot waves.

In Team Racing, teams of three boats compete against one other in a fast paced game of skill and tactics where the team's total score counts, not just an individual's effort. The Woodinville team practices at the nonprofit Sail Sand Point with other high schools on the Eastside and Seattle and the University of Washington Sailing Club.
