Local Grange Announces Annual Community Scholarships and Grants

  • Written by Valley View Staff
Scholarships and grants are currently available for individuals in agricultural and related fields of study through the Sammamish Valley Grange. Support is provided annually to community members (with Grange members and families given priority) whose studies strengthen and support farming, the mission and goals of the Grange, and the Sammamish Valley community.
Awards may be used for school tuition, a continuing education class or workshop or a Grange supporting program. Applications are due in writing on or before April 1st, 2018, and funds are available for any program completed throughout the year. Scholarships and grants will be awarded on June 20, 2018. Recipients are expected to make a brief presentation at a Grange meeting upon completion of their program.
