Beginning Experience comes to Carnation Farms

  • Written by Valley View Staff
If you are recovering from loss of a marriage partner by death, divorce or separation, Beginning Experience is offering “A weekend away for a lifetime of change.” The B.E. Tacoma chapter is holding a retreat weekend at tranquil and scenic Carnation Farms March 2-4, 2018. The retreat is an inter-faith based opportunity for you to move into the future with renewed hope.
This is the only retreat we plan to offer this year and enrollment  is limited to a total of 10 participants.  A $225 retreat fee covers lodging, meals, snacks, all retreat materials Friday through Sunday and a follow up reunion gathering. We are a non-profit, all volunteer group that focuses specifically on helping you help yourself recover from your loss. If cost hinders you from attending, please ask us about possible financial assistance.
From a participant... “After   divorce my brother-in-law encouraged me to attend a B.E. retreat. It's not magic, recovery is a metamorphosis but why not take a shorter route though grief. We just don't live long enough to learn about life on our own. At the retreat, I met other people like myself who were experiencing grief following the loss of a relationship. Through targeted writing and support in small group discussions I was able to process a lot of my feelings and expedite my healing.”
