The Rotary Club of Duvall announces applications are now open for community organizations to apply for grants from the Rotary Foundation of Duvall. The Club Community Service Committee oversees the grant process assuring that receiving grant organizations are a 501(c) 3 organization and have met the funding criteria and are aligned with Rotary’s Areas of Focus as stated on the Application Form.
Rotary: Making a Difference is the theme for the Rotary International organization that has over 1.2 million members in 35,533 clubs that provide service throughout the world according to Anthony Smith, Foundation President. Criteria for the grants include a focus on Snoqualmie Valley and meet at least one of six areas of focus such as disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, peace and conflict prevention, water and sanitation or economic and community development.
The due date for application submission to the Club is March 16th, 2018. Materials, including the application form, can be obtained at www.duvallrotary.org or by contacting a Club member.
