Cherry Valley Dairy Wins 15th National Award

Richmond, VA. -  Cherry Valley Dairy of Duvall, WA keeps winning year after year for its fine cheeses and butters.  The American Cheese Society's Annual Conference was held in Richmond, Virginia in June.  With over 1,742 entries from 257 companies, the awards are the nation’s highest dairy honor awarded for quality craftsmanship.
 
Cherry Valley Dairy won in the following divisions:
 
FLAVORED CHEESES
Fresh Unripened Cheese with Flavor Added - all milks
 
3rd PLACE
Fromage Blanc with Herbs
 
FLAVORED CHEESES
Butter with Flavor Added - all milks
 
2nd PLACE
Coffee Butter
 
1st PLACE
Herbed Rose Butter
 
Cherry Valley Dairy is run by six people. The dairy has three cheese makers: Blain Hages, Meghan McKenna and Brie Best; two dairy farmers, AnnMarie Stickney and Jhony Padilla, and is owned by Gretchen Garth. Head Cheese Maker, Blain Hages, attended this year’s conference and said "The hard work continues to pay off. I'm overjoyed with our team’s effort this season. Its been a record year!"
 
Cherry Valley Dairy has no intentions of slowing down. They will be attending the 2020 Annual Conference and Competition in Portland, OR.
