Monroe Garden Club mambers have been busy dividing and potting perennials for the Monroe Garden Club’s annual plant sale.
Club president, Jeannette Susor, says, “Beginning in February we began digging up and transplanting perennials, shrubs and native plants, to offer at our annual plant sale in May. These plants come back year after year and grow happily in our area. At the sale, gardeners will find a nice variety to brighten their yard.”
The sale will be on Saturday, May 13, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the East County Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe.
Proceeds of the sale will benefit the club’s annual scholarship program, and community beautification projects.
