“Would you set up a first aid station at the Duvall Visitor Center during Duvall Days, June 3rd?” Sure.
“How about a first aid station at Carnation Farms for the Cascade Bicycle Club’s Flying Wheels Ride the next Saturday, June 10th?” Sure.
The all-volunteer Carnation-Duvall Medical Reserve Corps is trained and ready to support community events. Byron Byrne, CDMRC trainer, said, “Give us some time to call down our membership list and we will do our best to be there.”
Special thanks to CDMRC members who turned out from Carnation – Teri Breitenbach, MA – and from Duvall – Lisa Brouwer, Gary Haines, Milt Hanson, MD, Donna Meade, LPN, and Deary Panek, RN.
Sponsored by the US Surgeon General, the local Medical Reserve Corps is a program of the Carnation-Duvall Citizen Corps Council – working since 2002 to keep the community safer, stronger and better prepared.
