On Saturday, June 16th at the Carol Edwards Center, West Family Martial Arts of Woodinville held a belt ceremony for over 80 students. Included in the ceremony were nine children (pictured above) who earned the prestigious Black Belt. Students typically train two to three hours a week for three years to earn a Black Belt. Pictured are, from left to right, Hunter Gustafson, Grigoriy Shmigol, Abigail Welter, Anna Law, Mya Koth-Richardson, Nicole Maltseff, Brady Sumner, Carson Noe, Silas Van Lierop, and Master West.
