Pet of the Week - Nov. 4, 2013

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption Center

GwennieDevoted and spirited, this happy girl is Gwennie! This girl with the striking speckled coat is a ten year old Beagle/Lab. Gwennie is a vibrant and active dog who enjoys toys, outdoor adventures, and affection. She greets everyone with a sweet wag and smile and never backs down from an opportunity to play or go for a walk. Gwennie is the perfect medium sized girl - she currently weighs in at 40 pounds. Like most Beagles she enjoys to talk and would prefer a house with a yard to romp in rather than an apartment. Gwennie is ready and waiting to find her new home to settle into. This social butterfly loves people and loves one on one time, so come and say hello!

We are located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville and are open for visitors between 12pm and 6pm, Wednesday through Sunday.

Adopt A Senior Pet!

November is Adopt-A-Senior-Pet-Month and Homeward Pet Adoption Center has some wonderful senior dogs and cats to consider as a new family member.  Cats and dogs at the shelter are considered seniors at the age of eight years and older. Senior animals have a lot to offer to their new home including unconditional love, a mellow temperament, and a foundation of training and good house manners. A senior dog or cat can make a great first pet for families that may not have much experience or people that work during the day and need someone who is already house trained.
