Woodinville Garden Club offering two $2,500 scholarships

by Virginia Brix | Woodinville Garden Club

The Woodinville Garden Club provides two $2,500 scholarships to Washington State residents pursuing education in horticulture, botanical environmental studies, landscape design, agronomy, botanical sustainability or other plant related fields. The scholarship award must be used at a two-year, four-year or graduate degree from accredited college, university or vocational school.

Application materials for the 2023-2024 academic year are due February 15, 2023. Students can apply for the scholarship through the club’s website (www.woodinvillegardenclub.org) or www.wasboard.org which is a Washington state clearinghouse for scholarships. Awards will be announced by March 15, 2023.

Since the Woodinville Garden Club first established its scholarship program more than $60,000 in awards have been granted to local students with an interest in horticulture. We are grateful to our community for their generous support of our annual spring Plant Sale and summer Tour of Gardens that enable our group to give back locally and globally.
