Woodinville High School Dance Team is back
After 15 long years, Woodinville High School has a Dance Team again. The current team consists of 18 members and are working on recruiting for the 2023-2024 tryouts that took place at the end of April.
The Dance Team started in January and has already performed at a WHS basketball game, Timbercrest Basketball game and the KingCo Districts Dance Competition at Redmond High School.
They are currently performing Jazz, Pom and Contemporary routines at pep assemblies, football games, basketball games, competitions and other community events. Some dancers have extensive experience at local studios and other dancers that are dancing formally for the first time.
The team is coached by Audrey Woodard, who grew up dancing in Mukilteo at Allegro Dance Studio and at Kamiak High School. While in college at WSU, she started teaching dance for Sanctuary Dance Company and the Pullman High School Dance Team. For more information, please email coach Woodard at ‘firstname.lastname@example.org.’
