Four local Rotary Clubs collaborate with ATI
Adults Transitioning to Independence (ATI) recently collaborated with four local Rotary Clubs – Woodinville, Northshore, Issaquah and North Creek – in Mock Interview Sessions. Over 30 ATI students in the Northshore School District were able to gain valuable job-ready skills with the help of Rotarian mentors.
The mock interviews were an opportunity for Rotarians to offer exceptional experiences for ATI students. As business representatives, Rotarians were able to provide an actual interview exercise where students shared their resumes, experiences and skills.
Rotarians provided students feedback on their marketable skills, dependable strengths and assessed their interview technique. This information was invaluable to students and their teachers as they develop their career portfolios in preparation for exiting the school system.
