Lenny Max Peterson | June 10, 1936 — June 24, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Lenny Max Peterson announce his passing. Lenny passed away on June 24, 2023 peacefully in his home with his wife, Susan, and daughters, Kathryn Daines and Karolyn Peterson by his side. Lenny was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Lenny was a Seattle native growing up in Madison Valley and was a 1955 graduate of Garfield High School. He served 25 years in the Seattle Fire Department and spent time working on Engine 10, 35, and 36 as well as Ladder 1, 3, 4, and 10 before retiring as Captain in 1986. In retirement he kept himself busy with his love of building and re-modeling houses, and restoring classic cars. He touched many people’s lives as a devotedfather, coach, and friend. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Liljebeck Farms, 9009 222nd St. S.E., Woodinville, WA 98077.
