Jane E King February 1932-January 2025 Jane E King February 1932-January 2025

Jane (Kirby) King was born in Ruleton, Kansas on February 22, 1932 and passed away at Overlake Hospital on January 12, 2025.  Her family moved to Bothell when she was a teenager.  She graduated from Bothell High in 1950.
Jane was a social person and never turned down an opportunity to go out and be with people.  She loved her family and friends completely and enjoyed time with them this past Christmas.
She was a very creative person who loved to do arts and crafts and especially enjoyed being involved in community theatre.  Jane belonged to many clubs and groups.  She loved to play pinochle with her friends at the Green Acres Clubhouse.
Jane met her husband, Roy, in 1949 and they were married in 1950 for 72 years until Roy’s passing in 2022.  Three weeks after Roy passed away, Jane had a stroke.  She was no longer able to live alone.  The family is so thankful for her grandchildren, Janet, Nick and Richard, who moved in with her so she could remain in her own home.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Caroline Watts.  She is survived by her son Ken King, (Mona) and daughter Michelle Tuck (Ron).  She has 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the team at Overlake Hospital, the Eastside Fire & Rescue and Pastor Berg.

A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd at 12pm at Purdy and Walters Floral Hills 409 Filbert RD Lynnwood, with a catered reception/open house to follow from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, if you feel so moved, please donate to The Chicken Soup Brigade in her name.
