Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO, recently concluded high-profile visits to Washington, D.C., and Beijing, advocating for the global benefits of AI. During his time in the U.S. capital, Huang met with President Trump and policymakers, underscoring NVIDIA’s commitment to supporting American job creation, strengthening domestic AI infrastructure, and fostering U.S. leadership in AI innovation.
In Beijing, Huang engaged with government and industry officials, discussing how AI can boost productivity and expand opportunities, while emphasizing the importance of advancing safe and secure AI worldwide. A key update from his visits includes NVIDIA’s renewed efforts to sell its H20 GPU in China, with assurances from the U.S. government that licenses will be granted, and deliveries expected to commence soon. Additionally, Huang unveiled a new, fully compliant NVIDIA RTX PRO GPU specifically designed for “digital twin AI” applications in smart factories and logistics.
Huang reiterated his view that the world has reached an “inflection point,” where AI has become a fundamental resource akin to energy or the internet. He stressed NVIDIA’s dedication to open-source research, foundation models, and applications to democratize AI globally, empowering emerging economies. He also voiced his belief that “every civil model should run best on the U.S. technology stack,” encouraging international adoption of American AI infrastructure.
